More Warcraft Hunter Leveling Build Results At The Bottom Of The Page

Ask any seasoned WoW player and they will tell you that hunters level up faster than anyone else. Why, That is because the best hunter leveling spec turns the hunter’s pet into a war machine, something even warlocks can’t do.

Any of the hunter specialization trees work for leveling, but for this build you will want to use Beast Mastery. It is the fastest tree for leveling and gives you the best talents for equipping your pet as a tank, taking the heat off your hunter. So if you are ready to start leveling up like a demon, here is a solid build.

Starting with the Beast Mastery Tree:

5 – Improved Aspect of the Hawk

3 – Endurance Training (3/5)

2 – Focused Fire

2 – Improved Revive Pet

1 – Aspect Mastery

4 – Unleashed Fury (4/5)

2 – Bestial Discipline

1 – Improved Mend Pet (1/2)

1 – Intimidation

1 – Bestial Wrath

1 – Animal Handler (1/2)

5 – Frenzy

3 – Ferocious Inspiration

1 – Bestial Wrath

3 – Cobra Strikes

1 – Longevity

5 – Kindred Spirits

Use Serpent String, Aspect of the Viper, Hunter’s Mark for your major glyphs, and choose feign death, revive pet, mend pet for your minor glyphs. Again, start with the Beast Mastery Tree and put five points in Improved Aspect of the Hawk. Then put

5 – Lethal Shots

3 – Careful Aim

3 – Improved Hunter’s Mark

Finally, change to the Survival Tree and put your last 5 points in Improved Tracking. For your glyphs, choose Aspect of the Viper, Serpent String and Hunter’s Mark. Pick Mend Pet, Feign Death and Revive Pet as your minor glyphs.

Both builds start off putting talent points into Aspect of the Hawk. While it does not benefit your pet in any way, the increased attack speed it gives your hunter is essential for doing decent damage. Naturally, the all-important Beast Mastery is included at the end. There is also the critical bonus for your pet with Ferocity and the must-have talent Unleashed Fury which makes your pet hit harder.

The key to using both these builds lies in making sure you micromanage your pet properly. If you were in a raid, you wouldn’t take aggro off the main tank – so don’t take it off your pet! Let your pet take the heat, and you’ll be leveling up in no time.
