More killing
Back to the quests. You should now have one quest to find Seer Graytongue and one to collect 10 cougar pelts. Again, both of these quests can be completed in the same area. Head off in a south direction until you find a load of cougars roaming about. Don't forget to shift-click the The Hunt Continues quest to get the objectives up on your screen.
You will find the cougars just beside a big fallen tree to the south of the camp. Also, if you look up on the hill you will see a tent and a totem. Seer Graytongue is waiting up there for you. For now, use the same tactics to kill cougars until you have ten pelts.
Getting your skills up
As you are fighting you may also notice that you get messages in your chat window about your defence and staves skills going up. These two skills determine how well you defend yourself and how well you hit with your staff and are important to keep as close to maximum as possible. You can see you current skill levels on your Skills Window (K key). Also, you should level to up level 3 sometime soon. Unfortunately, you don't get any new spells on the odd levels, so there's no reason to head back to your trainer for now.
Death
One thing I haven't mentioned so far is death. As long as you are careful about having close to full health and mana before each fight then there isn't much risk of death up to now. If you do die then don't worry. It's a small inconvenience, especially compared to other online games like this. If you do die then you will end up with a screenshot like below. Press the Release Spirit button and you will be transported as a ghost to the local graveyard for the area you are in. Luckily this is right beside the camp for this area.
You now have two choices. Talk to the Spirit Healer to bring yourself to life in the graveyard or you can also go and recover your corpse. The disadvantage of reviving at the graveyard is that all of your equipment will take 25% damage, which you will need to repair for a fee. For now we are going to go recover our corpse because money is tight at these early levels.
