Forming a party

Parties in World of Warcraft are a way for you to join together with other players and either fight together or complete quests together. You share any experience and loot you get from kills between all the members in your party. This may seem like a downside to being in a party but because you can kill more quickly it usually ends up evening itself out in the end. You can also talk privately to other party members using the /party chat command. The other main advantage is that you have someone to watch your back and help you get out of trouble if needed.

There are a couple of exceptions to the sharing that occurs in a party. The first is that if the quest is one that requires you to kill a certain type of monster a certain amount of times then your whole party will get credit for each kill. The second is when you are required to kill a boss or named type monster and retrieve an item from them. For example, take the two quest we are doing at the moment. If you are in a party when doing this quest then you will all get credit for killing the Venture Co. workers and supervisors, and you will all receive a clipboard when you kill Supervisor Fizsprocket.

Whether or not you decide to form a party for this quest you will find Fizsprocket at the back of the main passage in the mine. Fight your way to the entrance and continue going forward through the mine. There are a couple of branches to the mine off to the left but you can ignore those unless you want to explore a bit. It is pretty much guaranteed that you are going to have to handle two or more monsters at the same time in here, so keep on your toes.

When you kill Fizsprocket and retrieve the clipboard make your way back through the mine, making sure that you kill enough of the workers and supervisors to complete your other quest objectives. When you are outside again head towards the path leading from Bloodhoof Village to The Barrens and find Morin Cloudstalker again. Hand in the two quests that he gave you, choosing either reward for Supervisor Fizsprocket quest. You cannot use either at the moment, so you will just be selling the item to a merchant.
