Skinning the corpse

Head back along the path towards Bloodhoof Village and just before the bridge turn left to find the stalkers and cougars we need for our next quest. Start killing them to get both types of claw. If you picked up the skinning skill earlier on then you will notice something different this time when you have finished looting the corpse. If you hover your mouse over the corpse you will have the option of skinning it. Go ahead and right-click on it to start skinning.

Skinning allows you to get various types of hide from the skinnable monsters in World Of Warcraft. These hides can then be sold on to merchants or other players for a nice profit. You should try and always skin monsters of your own level or slightly above. This will ensure that your skinning skill goes up as you level. You only get skinning skill points if the monster is close to your own level.

More wells

When you have all your claws head back to Bloodhoof Village to hand the two quests in. Sell and repair as usual. You will get one more quest from Mull, Thunderhorn Cleansing. Head back on the road to Thunder Bluff and go to the well you should have spotted earlier on the right side of the path after the bridge. Clear a way to the well and cleanse it in the same way you did with the previous well. Return to Mull to hand it in and pick up a new quest, Wildman Totem, which you will need to gather prairie wolf alpha teeth for.

The best spot I've found for prairie alpha wolves is back along the road to the east, where we picked up the quests from the wandering NPC earlier. Head out there and further along the road than you've been before you should spot the prairie alpha wolves we need on the left. Start killing them to get the teeth and watch out for the pairs of centaurs that patrol that area. When you have the teeth return to Mull and hand the quest in. He will give you one final quest for him, to cleanse another well. In return you will get a nice new staff. We'll get back to that later though.
