Seer Wiserunner

When you reach the cave that the wolf leads to you, talk to Seer Wiserunner to complete the quest. Choose whichever reward you need the most. You will also receive another quest for him called Rite Of Wisdom. We're going to leave that quest for a bit because it involves travelling to another bit of the area we aren't quite ready to go to yet. For now make sure you have the objectives on screen for the Thunderhorn Totem and Dwarven Digging quests.

The first one we are going to do is Dwarven Digging. Leave the cave and head south along the base of the mountains. You will soon comes across some tree stumps and uncover an area called the Bael'dun Digsite, home to the dwarves we need. Head up the hill and start killing the dwarves. They will start to drop Prospector's Picks. You need five of these. However, they won't count towards your objectives yet because there is one more step we need to do once we collect five of them. Now is also a good time to try out your new Entangling Roots spell to catch fleeing monsters.

Self healers

Around now you should hit level 9. You may also encounter a new type of enemy, one that can heal itself. Among the dwarves are some Bael'dun Appraisers, who have the ability to heal themselves. You need to be careful with these guys because you are going to have to use more spells and mana to take them down.

Handy scrolls

While I was fighting the dwarves I also received my first scroll as loot. Scrolls will drop randomly from monsters that you kill and are a one off temporary buff that you can cast on yourself. In my case I got a scroll that increased my armor by 60 for 30 minutes. There are scrolls out there that will also increase your other stats.

When you have all five picks take a look at their description. You will see that you need to be by a forge to break them. There is a forge further on in to the Bael'dun Digsite but there is also one up in Thunder Bluff, so now is a good time to check it out. Head back towards the path leading from Bloodhoof Village and head north along it until you get to the lifts up to Thunder Bluff. Take one of the lifts up, being careful not to fall off.
