New monster attack
You will also notice that each of monsters has different combat skills. Swoops like to knock you down, taking you out of combat for a second or two and wolves like to growl at you, reducing your strength and agility for a short period of time. Each monster in World Of Warcraft has different combat skills.
Once you reach the well you will see it's guarded by lots of monsters. You need to collect those gray stones you can see in the screenshot below, so clear a path to them first. You will notice two things about these particular monsters around the well.
Fleeing monsters
First, they have a nasty habit of running away when low on health. This is probably the first monster you will have met that does this. It can be really annoying sometimes because if they run towards other aggressive monsters then they will get them to join in the fight. This is something you need to learn how to manage as it happens a lot during the game.
As a young druid you may find Moonfire a handy spell to finish them off if they run away. You can cast Moonfire to get their health down and to also keep reducing their health until they are dead. That way, if they happen to recruit a friend to help, you can think about running away, knowing that they will probably end up dying from your Moonfire DoT anyway while you escape from their friend.
Cloth for bandages
The second thing you may notice is that they are humanoids and that they drop cloth. As I said earlier, this cloth can be used by your First Aid skill to make bandages. When you collect a few cloth hit your First Aid button and make a few bandages. As you make bandages your First Aid skill will go up, which will allow you to make better bandages later on. Drag the new bandages in your backpack to your action bar so that they are handy and try one out after a fight.
Once you have the two well stones you need then go back to the village, killing any plainstriders, wolves and swoops along the way and making sure to stop by the base of the trees to get the two ambercorns you need. Sell your loot and then return to Zarlman Two-Moons to complete the Rite Of Vision quest. He will offer you another quest but for the moment leave it because it involves following an NPC in the other direction.
Hitting level 6
During all this questing and fighting you have probably reached level six, so we should pick up our new druid skills. The druid trainer is in the big tent shown in the screenshot below.
