More Burning Crusade Results At The Bottom Of The Page

Up until Wrath of the Lich King healing classes weren’t useful for much other than raid or instance healing. This all changed near the tail end of Burning Crusade when characters received bonus spell damage from the amount of bonus healing they had. All of a sudden a holy priest with 2,000 bonus healing had enough bonus spell damage to do some real damage and methods for priest gold farming were born.

More recently Blizzard came out with duel specs meaning you can spec both holy and shadow simultaneously. You have the opportunity to do some serious gold farming without having to roll a dps alt to do it for you. There are many different items that can be farmed for profit but just like primal in Burning Crusade now crystallized elements are the items of choice. More specifically I recommend sticking to eternal fires because they are used in a variety of professions and are always in high demand. You won’t have to worry about listing your items and them not selling.

Where to Farm

So now that you know what to farm you probably wondering where the best spots to farm it are. Many people will tell you to go hand out in wintersgrasp where a variety of different mobs drop crystallized elements and I will say that if your faction owns wsg then this isn’t a bad idea at all. In fact, during these times the drop rate is a guaranteed 100%. The only problem is you have to constantly watch to make sure the opposite faction isn’t going to gank you while your low on mana or health.

My favorite place to farm eternal fire is actually nowhere near wintersgrasp at all. Instead I travel east of the sons of hodir where the raging remnants can be found. There are about a 8-10 of these that stay very close to the forge. The reason this is so successful is because these mobs have a forced respawn rate. This means that no matter how fast you kill them they will respawn faster so that you will never have to stop killing except to drink. Taking into consideration the 8-10 eternal fires, various green drops, and vendor trash you will collect you should easily be able to grind out 300 plus gold an hour using just this one priest gold farming technique.

Making gold can be a full time job and many gamers I talk to hate farming more than anything else. I used to be that way but after learning some easy to duplicate methods I now have more fun making gold than actually playing wow for the pve or pvp content.
